Trauma is the leading cause of death in the US for people under 45 - more than cancer, heart disease, and the next 7 causes combined. At least 1 in 5 trauma deaths are preventable. You can make that difference.
Designed by active medical providers and in support of the DHS Stop the Bleed campaign, this app provides assistance to empower people before, during and immediately after a traumatic event. The app walks the user through the RACE2Safety algorithm for simple but effective response to preventable causes of death due to trauma.
Follow along with trauma healthcare providers and first responders as they instruct you on how to RACE:
R - React to the threat
A - Activate emergency systems
C - CARE for causes of preventable trauma deaths
E - Evacuate to rescue
Help is always there before first responders.
First there - First CARE
